This Privacy Policy covers the MugMorph app and every tool/module within it (including an on-device caricature studio with photo warping, masks and ink, six short voice treatments, waveform-driven talking portraits, animated GIF export, and multi-panel StackCanvas posters). MugMorph is a consumer entertainment tool that runs on your device.
MugMorph is local-first: the app's features run on your device and the content you create (settings, saved projects, logs, results) stays on your device. We do not operate accounts or servers for it, and we never receive, sell, or rent the content you create. The Android and iOS apps contain no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK, show no ads, do not access advertising identifiers, and do not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
We do not ask for or collect your name, email, contacts, precise identity, selected photos, face landmarks, voice recordings, biometric or voiceprint templates, health data, or location. We operate no server that receives such data. Any data the app creates is stored locally on your device and remains under your control.
MugMorph does not use or request the camera. Choosing an image uses the operating system's photo picker, so the app never needs access to your whole library. The Motion & Voice studio requests the microphone only after you tap Record, records a take of up to 20 seconds, and processes it entirely on your device. Raw and processed recordings, selected photos, face landmarks, animations, and canvas projects stay in the app's private sandbox until you delete or explicitly share/export them; they are never uploaded or received by bee2.io. You can decline or revoke microphone access in device settings; the photo, caricature, mask, ink, and StackCanvas features continue to work without it. The only other capability the app holds is standard network access, used for the store purchase/restore flow and links that you choose to open - not to transmit the content you create to us.
The Android and iOS apps contain no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK. They show no ads, do not request or use advertising identifiers, and do not send advertising, attribution, or analytics events to bee2.io or an advertising provider.
Optional one-time feature purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or receive your payment-card details. The app stores only a local record that a feature was unlocked. Purchase data is handled under Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.
The app uses standard network access for the store purchase/restore flow and user-opened legal or support links. It does not send the content you create to us, and its core features work offline. Separately, your device's operating system and the app store you used (Apple or Google) may independently process store transactions or diagnostics under their own privacy policies; that processing is outside our control and is not shared with us.
Because the content you create lives on your device, you control it. In Guide → Data controls, "Delete all creative data" permanently erases saved faces, voice performances, StackCanvas projects, and temporary creative drafts from the app sandbox. Store purchases remain associated with Apple/Google and can still be restored. You can clear all remaining local preferences through your device's app-storage settings or by uninstalling the app. The app does not require or offer an account, so there is no remote account to delete.
MugMorph is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). The app shows no ads and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact [email protected].
The app does not collect personal information for bee2.io, does not contain an advertising or analytics SDK, and does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
For the app's on-device features we hold no personal data about you to access, correct, port, or delete. You may still contact [email protected] with a privacy question or lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. Apple or Google may independently process store transactions under their own privacy policies.
The content you create stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security (passcode, encryption, sandboxing). No internet transmission is ever completely secure; because the app does not transmit the content you create, that risk is minimized.
The app processes the content you create locally on your device wherever you are. Store transactions may be processed by Apple or Google in other countries under their own policies.
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
