By using HearthKeeper, you agree to these terms.

1. What HearthKeeper is

HearthKeeper is a local macOS organizer for documenting personal property, documents, moving records, collections, wardrobes, estate-planning notes, and small-business asset records. It stores information you enter or confirm and produces calculations and exports from those records.

2. Not professional advice

HearthKeeper does not:

• estimate, appraise, or guarantee an item's current or future value;
• determine ownership, insurance coverage, claim eligibility, legal effect, tax treatment, accounting treatment, or regulatory compliance;
• create a will or provide insurance, legal, probate, tax, accounting, financial, sustainability, or valuation advice;
• guarantee that an insurer, court, mover, auditor, executor, tax authority, or other party will accept an export.

Collector rollups, depreciation figures, allocation checks, and cost-per-wear results are arithmetic on records you provide. Translation may contain errors; retain and verify the original text before relying on it. Consult a qualified professional when a decision requires professional advice.

3. Your records and backups

You are responsible for the accuracy of records you enter or confirm and for how you use them. Data is stored on your Mac. Because HearthKeeper has no cloud copy, bee2.io LLC cannot recover lost, deleted, or corrupted records. Maintain your own backup if needed.

4. Purchases and samples

The free core is provided as-is. Optional packs are one-time, non-consumable purchases handled by Apple; billing and refunds follow Apple's terms.

Free pack samples use limited synthetic data, capped edits, and reduced marked exports. They are demonstrations, do not use production data, and do not promise that every possible dataset or external workflow has been tested.

5. Acceptable use

Use HearthKeeper lawfully and only for property, documents, and records you are entitled to document. Do not use generated labels or records to misrepresent ownership, identity, value, condition, or custody.

6. No warranty

HearthKeeper is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, bee2.io LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, arising from use of or inability to use HearthKeeper.

8. Changes

We may update these terms with an app update. The date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
