HearthKeeper is a local macOS home-inventory app. It has no bee2.io account, server, analytics, telemetry, third-party advertising, or app network access.
Depending on the features you use, HearthKeeper can store:
These records live in the app's sandbox container. Exports go only to a location you select.
Apple system frameworks process receipt OCR, barcode detection, image metadata, wardrobe foreground masks, QR/Code 128 generation, and PDF rendering locally. OCR results are presented for confirmation before being saved.
Collector translation uses Apple's system Translation framework when available. macOS may manage the required language assets. HearthKeeper keeps the original text visible and does not send source text to a bee2.io server.
Apple StoreKit handles optional one-time pack purchases. Apple processes payment; HearthKeeper checks the on-device entitlement state. We do not receive payment card details.
Samples run in a disposable app-owned temporary container. They use generated synthetic records, block external imports, never open production data, and are removed when the sample closes.
You can delete individual records or erase the entire catalog and copied media from Settings. HearthKeeper has no cloud recovery copy, so deletion from the Mac is complete. You are responsible for any backups you want to keep.
HearthKeeper is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children.
Policy changes ship with an app update and a revised date.
This Mac app contains no advertising of any kind: no ad SDK, no banner or full-window promotional message, no interstitial, no cross-app identifier, no tracking, no targeting, and no personal profile. Optional one-time packs are presented only in the app's own Packs section, which you open yourself, and on a locked workspace you have chosen to visit.
