Privacy Policy - Coldsource
Scope
This policy applies to the Coldsource iOS application. It does not apply to visits to the bee2.io website. If you open a link from Coldsource in a browser, the separate bee2.io Website Privacy Policy applies to that website visit.
Information Coldsource stores locally
Coldsource is a local-first story game. It stores the information needed to operate on your device, inside its app sandbox. That can include saved timelines and choices, player-character settings such as a chosen name and the identity options you pick during character creation, accessibility and sound settings, the route record, local purchase entitlements, and a local diagnostic log.
Coldsource does not upload this information to bee2.io. It has no account system and no bee2.io game server.
Information we do not collect through the app
Coldsource does not include advertising, app analytics, crash reporting to bee2.io, tracking SDKs, or a bee2.io network service. We do not receive your story choices, save data, player-character information, device activity, or an advertising identifier from the app.
Purchases and Restore Purchases
Coldsource uses Apple StoreKit only when you choose to make a purchase or restore a prior purchase. Apple processes the transaction under its own terms and privacy practices. Coldsource does not collect your payment-card information. After Apple confirms a purchase or restoration, the app records the resulting entitlement locally on your device.
Links you choose to open
The app can open bee2.io in your device's browser when you choose the in-app support link. Coldsource does not fetch that site itself. Any browser visit is governed by the privacy policy of the destination website.
Your choices
You can start a new timeline or erase the route record using controls in Coldsource. Those actions affect local game data on your device. StoreKit purchase history and device backups are managed by Apple and iOS, not by Coldsource.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if Coldsource's data practices change. The current version is posted at this address with its effective date.
