By using ScholarBindery, you agree to these terms.
ScholarBindery grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Macs you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Mac App Store's standard EULA. In-app purchase packs are one-time, non-consumable purchases that unlock additional capabilities forever on your account; there is no subscription.
You retain all rights to the material you import and the cards, decks, and review history you create. ScholarBindery stores this content locally on your Mac and never transmits it. You are responsible for the material you import and for ensuring you have the right to use it for personal study.
ScholarBindery is a personal-study organizer for materials you supply. Do not use it to infringe anyone's copyright; import or record only material you are permitted to use for personal study. The app also includes separately licensed WordNet and Make Me A Hanzi data. Their original notices and license files ship with those assets and continue to govern their redistribution.
ScholarBindery is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. While it is designed to keep your data safe and to never overwrite your original files, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We are not liable for any loss of data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, bee2.io LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ScholarBindery.
In-app purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are subject to Apple's policies. Restoring purchases is available at any time from the in-app store.
We may update these terms; the updated version ships with the app and the date above is revised. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
