The Short Version

CulinaNote collects nothing for bee2.io, transmits nothing to an app-owned server, and needs no account. Your recipe collection, cooking logs, chef notes, ingredient substitutions, and downloaded dish photos remain securely stored on your device.

Web Recipe Ingestion Privacy

When you use the optional recipe link import tool, CulinaNote directly fetches the publicly accessible webpage from your device solely to parse the recipe's structured data (Schema.org JSON-LD or HTML text). No URL history, browsing behavior, or imported recipes are ever transmitted to bee2.io or any external server.

Data Storage and Telemetry

Local Storage: All recipes, scaled serving configurations, and cooking timers operate locally on your device.
Zero Tracking: No advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral analytics libraries are used.
In-App Purchases: The optional Full Unlock is handled directly by Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing.

Data Export

You have complete ownership of your culinary data. You can export recipes at any time as Markdown recipe cards, shopping list CSVs, or JSON archive packages.
